If someone would ever ask me about my favorit hobby, I would always say automaticall that I love to knit. And this was really true for many many years, but now I completely and fullhearted switched over to crochet. I have always liked to crochet a bit, small items like hot pads or cushion covers or even blankets as inbetween projects of knittings mostly. I was always glad when a crochet item was finally done and I could switch over again to my beloved knitting needles. How much this has changed now.

One of the most thrilling things for me was to discover so many beautiful crochet blogs lately and I so much want to share some of them with you, just in case you don´t already know them:

Cherry Heart is one of my absolutely favorits. I so much love her choice of colours, bright but not overbright, just the perfect shades which would look gorgeous in my home, too. And this cushion is for sure on my crochet-to-do-list. What a beauty!

I am nearly sure you all know Bunny Mummy, I am especially in love with her hexagon-cushion and I think it would also make a beautiful little bag.

Coco Rose finished already the blanket which was love at first sight for me when I discovered Nicki Trenchs new book, the yarn from my post before I have bought alredy to make a cushion cover with that design for our kitchen. Lovely, isn´t it?

Haken en meer surely makes the most pretty round cushions, which you could see the moment you are opening her inspiring blog.

Le monde de sucrette has a lot of free tutorials at the side bar of her blog, so very generous and so many more gorgeous crochet items to plans.

I so much admire and love how Meme Rose matches her fleamarket finds with her crochet, what a wonderful combination of crochet cushions and tea cups in the same colourway! Wish I would have this luck on my next fleamarket stroll, too.

And last but in no way least Little Wollie, who didn´t only makes the most funny and happy softies, who is also so very generous to give us all even a free tutorial to make by ourselves one of her lovlies in one two parts, oh no, she is making also one of the most beautiful blankets. Are some of you remembering my own bullerby-blanket? Well, this was just a very poor version of this blanket and yes, yes, yes, I dearly want to make such a beauty, too.

Oh my, so many great crochet blogs and so many inspirations. I only should stop now to browse them and start the making. If only this wouldn´t be so very hard to do, all the pictures the colours the writing the explainings the inspirations are too wonderful to leave them for more than a couple of minutes.

PS: my problems with blogger aren´t solved already, but I will try to get over them soon. If I am commenting, I will do this now un-signed, just in case you are wondering, but it seems the only way that blogger allows me to comment.

Da hast Du ja vielleicht was angerichtet.

LG, Snorka

Is it a granny stripes blanket you are making? I love your choice of colours and I am looking forward to see more of it.
Enjoy your crochet!

Thanks for all the pretty crochet blog links. I can't remember if I learned to crochet or knit first because I learned them both in my teens. But I think it might have been crochet first. I crocheted a doily for my home economics class project in secondary school when I was 13 or 14. That was before I found out about the wonders of blocking, so the doily didn't look as nice as I had hoped :)
